Designed for riders who want everyday comfort without compromising on safety, the Desert Cargo Black is crafted from premium Cordura® fabric—an advanced material blending cotton with military-grade INVISTA T420 nylon 6,6 fibre. It delivers the look and feel of casual denim with significantly higher abrasion and tear resistance, making it ideal for technical motorcycle apparel.

Built for the demands of the road, the Desert Cargo Black has been extensively tested to EN 17092-3:2020 standards and is certified CE AA rated. Engineered to withstand abrasion and slide impact, it offers reliable protection while maintaining a lightweight, easy-wearing feel.

Impact protection comes standard with SAS-TEC TripleFlex CE Level 1 armour included in both the knees and hips. The knee armour pockets feature two adjustment positions, allowing riders to dial in the fit for better comfort and protection, while the hips are fitted with matching SAS-TEC inserts for complete coverage where it matters most.

While these black motorcycle cargo pants were designed primarily for riding, you could wear them in everyday situations if you remove the armor from the pockets. Just remember to re-insert the armor into the pockets before your next ride.

What materials are used, and how do they enhance protection?

These cargo pants are primarily made with Cordura, a heavy duty denim that's been proven to have high tear and abrasion resistance. This helps to protect riders in the event of a slide. 

Can the armor be upgraded or replaced?

The armor that comes as standard with the Desert series cargo pants can be upgraded or replaced with different pieces that are compatible with the hip and knee pocket sizes. From Pando Moto you can buy SAS-TEC SC-1/KA2air Level 2 armor, suitable for the knees, hips, shoulders and elbows. 

How should I care for and maintain these pants?

The Desert Cargo Black cargo pants can be washed by hand or on a gentle machine cycle using cool water and a mild detergent, then air dried. Make sure you remove and wash the armor separately, and avoid both fabric softener and bleach.
